Christopher Nkunku netted his first hat trick for Chelsea, leading the team to a 5-0 victory over League Two side Barrow in the Carabao Cup at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Nkunku scored twice within the first 15 minutes and completed his hat trick in the 75th minute. In between, Barrow’s Paul Farman contributed an own goal, and Pedro Neto added a tap-in for his first goal with Chelsea.

Chelsea rotated their squad significantly, with manager Enzo Maresca making 11 changes from the team that won 3-0 against West Ham on Saturday.

The last 32 of the tournament is being held over two midweeks to accommodate the expanded Champions League and Europa League. Manchester United and Tottenham advanced last week, while Liverpool and Arsenal are set to play their matches on Wednesday.
